If you’re not busy this Sunday January 22, 2012 and still looking for a unique venue, Esates of Sunnybrookjust might be the perfect fit. McLean House and Vaughan House are historical buildings (formerly houses) built in 1928 and 1931, respectively. Now, they have been renovated to host a fabulous event whether it be an engagement party or your wedding on their beautiful private grounds. You are able to have your wedding ceremony on site as well! The gardens are just gorgeous during the spring and summer months and you don’t need to overpower your event with florals.
The Estates is a perfect place to have your photo session – no need for your guests to travel from place to place as parking is on-site and you can easily transition from ceremony to cocktail reception with ease.

Hey newly-engaged brides and grooms! Don’t miss out on this fabulous Toronto venue! Liberty Grand is having an open house for you to tour the venue, ask about their wedding packages, and meet their wedding coordinators! No appointment necessary.
Sunday January 22nd from 10-5pm
Great for those who haven’t decided on a venue just yet and you want to keep your options open! Liberty Grand has great wedding packages starting at $90 and if your wedding is in the “off-season” (January-March) you can get a substantial reduction in your cost! They have multiple rooms to accommodate any size party!
The day came and went in a blur, but damn, was it luxurious! The WedLuxe Luxury Wedding Show was hosted at the Ritz Carlton Toronto this past Sunday. I arrived at the Ritz early enough to avoid a long line up but not early enough to be the first ones to be inside the show. I walked through the revolving doors and was greeted with pink lemonade… unfortunately I didn’t have any since I didn’t have my Starbucks yet.
It was hectic, busy, and buzzing! Complimentary coat check, swag bag, free copy of Wedluxe, and the best of the best wedding vendors. The only word to describe this event —

My favourite part of the day was going to the Love in Spades-Kate Spade Inspired Tea Lounge! Each guest was offered complimentary tea – roasted almond or English Breakfast; and a selection of hors d’oeuvres. It was nice to have a moment to sit down, relax, and take a breath from the overwhelming luxury!
Forget Me Not’s floral canopy was just oustanding! It kind of reminded me of “Meet the Fockers” a bit… as well as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn wedding scene!

And for those who dragged their fiance’s, a special Groom’s Lounge was put together inspired by Mad Men! … I was unfortunately kicked out for briefly talking to my hubs so the MEN ONLY was enforced. It was nice to kind of escape the women’s lounge since it was so hectic in there!
Oh, a girl can dream! Vera Wang is synonymous with weddings and it’s a perfect match nonetheless! Her style and designs can make any bride’s wedding fairytale come to life! And even better, WHITE by Vera Wang is now available at David’s Bridal!

Bridal collections are showcased one year in advance and only a few are made of each design, so if you REALLY want to wear Vera Wang for your wedding day… make sure your bridal boutique contacts you once the samples have arrived! Book your fitting and get ready to swipe some plastic because the VERA WANG collection has a hefty price tag! I can only look with my eyes for fear if I touch the fabric and tear it…. only disaster would ensue.
I instantly fell IN LOVE with this dress when I first saw it!!

Today, we turn ONE! It has been an AMAZINGyear and I’m so fortunate that I have met wonderful and inspiring people in the wedding industry!! I couldn’t have done it without the support of my awesome (better) half and the continuing education from The Wedding Planners Institute of Canadaand its Alumni members!!
There were also some tough lessons in 2011 but you can only live and learn and move on. That’s my motto for life. Don’t let anything hold you back – definitely live your dreams to the fullest and most of all, do what you LOVE.
There are only bigger and better things to come for Envision Elegance, so stay tuned and thanks for reading!
