Make It Sunny!

NO, this post is not about the weather (although we could ALL use some sunshine & warmth in Toronto).

This is about the wonderful, luxurious, and historical venue located in Toronto – the Estates of Sunnybrook. Composed of three buildings: Coach House, McLean House, and Vaughan House. McLean House was built in 1928 and Vaughan House built in 1931. Both estates have undergone renovations to keep it in tip-top shape for any event: corporate meetings, graduation celebrations, bar/bat mitzvahs, engagement party, bridal shower, wedding ceremony in the gardens and wedding reception in the ballroom, or whatever your fancy. There are many rooms for any group size. Hardwood floors, chandeliers, high ceilings, and a roaring FIREPLACE in every room (may not be suitable during summer).
Bonus: Each estate has a “Plan B” in case of inclement weather.

Exterior: McLean House

Exterior (portion): Vaughan House

The venue offers plated, buffet, or cocktail service for any event and are very flexible in creating your menu according to your budget and taste! I had the pleasure of a tour and tasting with fellow Wedding Planners, courtesy of WPIC. We were treated like royalty!! Oyster bar, salmon canape, lamp chop, venison, jerk chicken, scallops, lobster bisque “shots”, and wine and cheese!

Throughout the tour we viewed every room (at least, I did…) and the final ballroom had a showcase of table settings and centerpieces. The flowers were provided byJackieO and the linens and design were created by Susan Murray.
